Our popular pub quiz runs every Monday from 8pm until 10pm. With a test of a wide range of general knowledge and the excitement of one lucky individual being asked the jackpot question, we hope there will be something for everyone. Maximum team size is 5 and we no longer take bookings on a Monday so it's first come, first served. You'll need to get here early to grab a table, our kitchen is also open 5-9.30 if you're peckish!

We are lucky enough to have Luke Smith playing every Thursday between 9.15 and 11.15, and every Sunday from 3.30 to 5.30. Expect to hear notable popular tunes from the 1950s to the present day, in an intimate and cosy setting. Get here early to secure a prime spot (and maybe even put in a cheeky request or two). After much research, we can confirm the evening pairs well with brandy, whisky, or a nice glass of red! 

We have an open mic night every Tuesday from 8pm to 11pm. Being a small pub we restrict acts to solo and duo performers and provide an in house acoustic guitar and keyboard. If you'd like to perform, get here before 8pm to guarantee yourself a slot.

On the last Wednesday of every month Luke Smith brings us his own original music in The Lo-Fi Zone with the help of Tom and Dave on guitar and drums.

The Monument isn't usually a sports based pub but we make an exception for major events on terrestrial TV. Three televisions sit in three different sections of the pub, and tables can be booked to watch any match. If sport isn't your thing, please don't worry, the pub has plenty of quiet areas too.
